Senegalese ace Cisse joining Freiburg

Senegalese striker Papiss Cisse is joining Freiburg from French second division club Metz.

The Bundesliga club gave no financial details of the transfer or the player's contract, saying only that the 24-year-old forward would join on Saturday.

Cisse said he was glad to be able to play in the Bundesliga and added: "I would like to establish myself there in the long term with Freiburg."

The Bundesliga is currently on a winter break.
