Scotland forward James McFadden rejoins Everton

Scotland forward James McFadden has re-signed for Everton on a short-term deal until the end of the season.

McFadden, who spent five years at Goodison Park between 2003-08, returns to the Premier League club as a free agent after being released in the summer by Birmingham.

He has not played a competitive fixture since injuring knee ligaments in September last year.

McFadden scored 11 goals in 109 appearances in his first spell at Everton.
