Schwarzer future uncertain

Veteran goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer concedes he is uncertain where he will be playing his football next season.

The Fulham shot-stopper is out of contract this summer and it is not clear whether he will be offered a new deal at Craven Cottage.

Italian side Roma claimed this week that their goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg had sealed a ?4million switch to the Cottagers, seemingly pushing Schwarzer further towards the exit door.

The Australia international, who joined Fulham from Middlesbrough in 2008, is keen for regular action next season in order to secure his international place ahead of the 2014 World Cup finals.

He admits he does not know where he will be playing next campaign, but is confident a resolution will be found sooner rather than later.

"There's no new developments; there's no new discussions; there's no nothing," said Schwarzer.

"Something will be sorted out - I've got no worries about that. I've got no idea at this stage where I'm going to be. I'm open to anything."
