Salihamidzic completes Wolfsburg move

Wolfsburg has completed the free transfer signing of experienced midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic.

The 34-year-old has spent the past four years at Juventus after a trophy-laden spell at Bayern Munich.

A move to the Volkswagen Arena will also reunite him for a third time with
Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath, under whom he worked at Hamburg and Bayern.

"For me it was clear that after Bayern and Juve, not every club would come
into consideration,'' he said.

"But Felix Magath gave me the chance to play football and for that reason it
was clear to me that I would do this.

"Here I am part of an interesting project that Felix Magath has built up.''

Magath added: "Brazzo is a player who has played in a number of positions at the very top level of football through his career.

"He is a signing that will make us flexible in the coming season.

"I'm convinced his maturity and experience will do our team good.''

At Bayern, Salihamidzic won six Bundesliga crowns, four DFB-Pokal titles and
the 2001 Champions League.

He is the Wolves' fourth new signing for next season, following on from the
captures of Patrick Ochs, Srdjan Lakic and Mateusz Klich.
