Russia beats Finland 3-0 in World Cup qualifier

Two own-goals helped Russia beat Finland 3-0 Wednesday in a World Cup qualifying match.

Petri Pasanen, trying to clear the ball from his own box, sliced the ball into the goal in the 23rd minute while his goalkeeper was on the ground nearby. In the second half, Veli Lampi put the ball into his own net off Konstantin Zyryanov's cross from the left.
