Roy wants Kuszczak and McAuley

Baggies boss Hodgson has declared his intent to strengthen his squad this summer and believes Kuszczak - a former Albion player - and McAuley would fit the bill. He said: "They are players that fall into the West Brom category. If those players are available, they will certainly be players we discuss. "At the moment all that type of talk is pure speculation. There will be a lot of that in the next few weeks. "This is the time when agents are trying to move their players around and make them attractive to other clubs. by supposedly having clubs who are interested in buying them." Kuszczak moved to Albion in 2004 from Hertha Berlin and spent two seasons at The Hawthorns. The Poland international joined United in the summer of 2006, initially for a season-long loan before the deal became permanent. His chances of becoming United number one appear slim even after the impending retirement of Edwin van der Sar. McAuley, a Northern Ireland international, had spells at Lincoln and Leicester before joining Ipswich three years ago.
