Ronaldo to move into marketing career in 2011

Veteran striker Ronaldo says he will work in the sports marketing sector when his playing career ends in 2011.

Ronaldo told the Estado de S. Paulo newspaper on Sunday that he is opening a sports marketing company to take advantage of Brazil's solid economy and the opportunities which will arise with the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The three-time FIFA player of the year says the company, called "9ine," will keep him busy and help improve the football business in Brazil.

The 33-year-old striker says he also wants to get into the business of buying and selling players.

Ronaldo has not set a specific date for his retirement.
