Ronaldo out two to three weeks with muscle injury
Cristiano Ronaldo could miss the first game of Real Madrid's Champions League quarterfinal against Tottenham due to a leg injury.
Club doctors said Sunday that Ronaldo picked up a muscle injury in his left leg during Saturday's 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid and that he would be sidelined for two to three weeks.
Depending on the pace of his recovery, he could miss the first leg against Tottenham in Madrid on April 5.
Ronaldo will also likely miss Portugal's friendlies against Chile and Finland this week and Madrid's Spanish league match against Sporting Gijon on April 2.
Madrid's top scorer was sidelined with a muscle tear in his left leg earlier this month.
