Ronaldo and Benzema fully focused on being fit for City decider
MADRID --
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says injured forwards Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema will miss Saturday's league match as they focus on getting ready to face Manchester City in the Champions League semifinals.
Madrid will be without its two top scorers when it plays at Real Sociedad, where it needs a win to stay in the Spanish league title race. Madrid trails leader Barcelona and second-place Atletico Madrid by one point with three matches to go.
Madrid hosts City on Wednesday after the two sides drew 0-0 in the first leg of the semifinals.
Both Ronaldo and Benzema are nursing right leg injuries. Ronaldo missed the away leg at City and last weekend's league match. Benzema left both of those matches early because of a hamstring injury.
