Ronaldinho parts ways with Rio club Fluminense after 2 months
RIO DE JANEIRO -- Two-time FIFA player of the year Ronaldinho has left Rio de Janeiro club Fluminense after only two months.
In a statement, the club said the former Brazil and Barcelona star was leaving ''amicably and by mutual consent.''
The 35-year-old attacking midfielder failed to score with Fluminense and was frequently jeered by the club's fans.
Ronaldinho, who won the 2002 World Cup with Brazil, moved this season from Mexico club Queretaro to Fluminense.
His last big European club was AC Milan, which he left in 2011 to play in Brazil with Flamengo, followed by Atletico Mineiro, Queretaro and Fluminense.
