Roberts shows support to Kean

Rovers have lost their opening two games against Wolves and Aston Villa, conceding five goals in the process. It would appear the Lancashire club are still reeling from the departure of Phil Jones to Manchester United, which has made their defence more vulnerable. Doubts remain over the future of the towering presence of Chris Samba, who was linked to London outfits Tottenham and Arsenal earlier this summer. Having just escaped relegation last summer, Rovers' anaemic start to the season has left already disgruntled supports calling for owners Venky's to wield the axe on Kean. "It's only two games in," Roberts told the Daily Mirror. "The transfer window is still open. There is some way to go yet before we have a talk about the manager. "When he came in we started well. We lost some games but we did stay up at the end of last season and showed a lot of character."
