Relive the Andrés Iniesta Champions League goal that broke Chelsea hearts

May 6, 2009. A day that will live long in the memory of culés worldwide.

In a game that featured the likes of Lionel Messi and Samuel Eto'o, you would've bet your house on either one of the two to turn up in front of goal and bulge the back of the net for Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League semifinal tie with Chelsea. After all, the two had combined for 74 goals in all competitions by the end of the historic 2008/09 treble-winning campaign.

Yet, on that European front, neither truly took center stage across the 180 minutes. Instead, the highly-charged fixture saw Andrés Iniesta, a week out from his 25th birthday, pop up in the third minute of stoppage time to score what was soon after designated the best goal of his career and one of the 10 most dramatic last-minute goals of the last two decades.

As the maestro turns 32 today, sit back and lap up the 'Iniestazo' in all its glory:

A timeless goal for Spain's most successful player and one of the best club teams ever constructed.
