Recent History
This will be the sixth meeting between Las Palmas and Los Blancos since 2000 with Real unsurprisingly winning 5 out of the six. The most recent games between the two came last season in La Liga play last season with Real winning away from home 3-1 and winning at home 2-1.

Marcelo and Casemiro Out
Los Merengues will be without two key players with Marcelo and Casemiro ruled out for this weekend’s match. Marcelo picked up a muscle injury and has been ruled out for a week or so. Casemiro on the other hand, picked up an injury in Wednesday’s draw and has been ruled out for three weeks.
Expect to see either Toni Kroos or Luka Modric moved back to fill in for Casemiro. Kroos has had a great run as of late making several good appearances in the last few games. Also expect to see James Rodriguez featured in the midfield again after making two great starts the past week.

What to Know About Las Palmas
Las Palmas have enjoyed a pretty nice start to the season currently sitting in fifth place in the table. However, following a 1-0 win over Malaga, Las Palmas fell 4-1 to Real Sociedad, a team Real Madrid beat 3-0 on the road.
Las Palmas will be without key midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng who is suspended after picking up a red card in the previous game. Boateng is expected to be replaced by Jonathan Vierra on the left side. Boateng won’t be the only player missing in the starting XI, withe center back Pedro Bigas still dealing with an injury problem. This will cause Quique Setién to juggle his lineup.
Game Prediction and Predicted Lineups
Real Madrid will be dealing with some injuries of there own, causing for a likely juggled lineup. Here’s who should be starting Saturday:
Real Madrid possible starting lineup:
Casilla; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Danilo; Modric, Kroos, James; Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo
Las Palmas on the other hand will have some strength up front and a rotated midfield and defense.
Las Palmas possible starting lineup:
Varas; Simon, Lemos, Bigas, D.Castellano; El Zhar, Montero, Mesa, Tana, Viera; Araujo
I expect Real Madrid to pickup where they left off against Villarreal with lots of pressure and possession. Las Palmas’ coming off a tough loss will continue to struggle here.
Final Score Prediction: Real Madrid 3 – Las Palmas 1
