Quinteros new coach for Bolivia

Argentina-born Gustavo Quinteros has been named the new coach of Bolivia.

Carlos Chavez, the president of the Bolivian Football Federation, named Quinteros, who is also the coach of Oriente Petrolero club.

Quinteros was a naturalized Bolivian and played for Bolivia, including the 1994 World Cup team. News reports said he was selected partly because he commanded a lower salary than another favorite for the job, Luis Suarez of Colombia.
