Pulis plans to shackle Davies

The Potters go head-to-head with Bolton with a place in the FA Cup final against Manchester City next month up for grabs. Pulis acknowledges his team need to be at their best to stop the attacking threat of England striker Davies. He also praised the job former Bolton boss Gary Megson did at the Reebok, which current manager Owen Coyle has built upon. Pulis told The People: "We will be preparing to look after Kevin because he has been the Bolton talisman for the past six or seven years. "I don't think my mate Gary Megson did a bad job there. "Owen Coyle took over a committed team and hasn't changed it round that much. "Look at the main players and they were the main players when Gary was there. "Owen has modified it a bit. He has done smashing. Bolton are safe now and in the semi-final of the FA Cup."
