Perfect Egypt beats Guinea 4-2 in WCup qualifying

Egypt ended the group stage of Africa's World Cup qualifiers with a 100 percent record after beating 10-man Guinea 4-2 on Tuesday.

The Egyptians had already qualified for the final playoffs for Brazil.

Bob Bradley's team will go into the two-leg playoffs starting next month after six wins from six in Group G and two games away from a first appearance at the World Cup since 1990.

Egypt came back from 1-0 down against Guinea in the Red Sea resort of El Gouna, where it is now playing home games because of the unrest across the country. Goals from Mohamed Salah and Amr Zaki in the last seven minutes broke a 2-2 deadlock and gave the Pharaohs their perfect group record. Guinea had captain Kamil Zayatte sent off.
