People are already mauling the Premier League's new logo
The Premier League will have a new look starting next season.
The English top flight revealed its new logo design on Tuesday, hailing it as "an exciting new visual identity" for the world's most popular league. It's definitely a cleaner, more modern look which, critically, has retained the league's iconic lion.
However, we all know it doesn't take a lot for the Internet trolls to go to work, and naturally the memes came flying in shortly after the announcement.
There was a lot of predictable jokes related to other famous lions:
