Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard set for Real Madrid move
Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard is set to sign for Real Madrid, according to reports.
The 16-year-old attacking midfielder is one of the most sought-after young players in world football and is believed to have had the choice of a plethora of Europe's top clubs.
Odegaard has reportedly visited almost every top club in Europe, training with teams in England, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands.
After assessing his options with family and representatives, Norway's youngest ever international is believed to have chosen the reigning Champions League winners over Bayern Munich and Premier League clubs Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.
Odegaard reportedly flew to Madrid last night and could complete his move from Norwegian Premier League club Stromsgodset as early as Wednesday.
Odegaard has come through the ranks at Stromsgodset and became the youngest ever player to play and to score in Norway's top flight.
He has made 16 appearances and scored three goals this season and only turned 16 on December 17, 2014.
