Nike to release exclusive Mercurial Superfly to celebrate Ronaldo's Ballon d'Or win

Cristiano Ronaldo won his fourth Golden Ball trophy to cap off a magical 2016. En route to the Ballon d'Or, he scored the winning penalty in the Champions League final, and led his country to their first-ever European Championship, scoring three goals as Portugal marched to victory.

In celebration, Nike have laced their main man with a special, limited-edition boot.

With a beautiful icy white upper, the Mercurial Superfly "Vitorias" boasts the Portuguese word for victory on the heel. The gold sole plate is a nod to the trophies Ronaldo won, and each pair of boots is individually numbered, with only 777 pairs on offer.

Ronaldo's signature "CR7" logo adorns the instep, with both it and the Nike logo touched with an iridescent shimmer. Extra clean.

Ronaldo's celebratory boot is available for the general public in early 2017, but don't be surprised to see the man himself rocking them on-pitch the next time he turns out for Real Madrid.
