New deal for Toffees ace Coleman
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 right-back made his breakthrough this season, making his debut in the Europa League defeat to Benfica on October 22 and playing his first Premier League match three days later at Bolton. Coleman, who joined the Toffees from League of Ireland side Sligo Rovers for £60,000 in January 2008, made seven appearances before being loaned out to Championship side Blackpool. The 21-year-old will return to Everton after the Seasiders' play-off final against Cardiff, at Wembley on Saturday, and the formalities of his new deal will be concluded then.
