Neville wants Jagielka stay

England centre-back Jagielka has been the subject of failed bids from Arsenal and Arsene Wenger is rumoured to be considering another offer. But Neville, who himself this weekend signed a new two-year contract at cash-strapped Everton, is optimistic his team-mate will remain at Goodison Park. "We want to keep all our best players," the 2005 signing from Manchester United told Sky Sports News. "That is out of my hands. All I can say is that I'm over the moon after signing a new contract at the weekend and I'm looking forward to the next two years "That's something I've been looking forward to the whole summer, getting everything agreed. "The next two years, for me, are hopefully as good as the last six." Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini have also been linked with moves away from Everton in the wake of chairman Bill Kenwright's confessions about the club's dire financial situation. David Moyes' team lost their Premier League season-opener against QPR on Saturday and Neville has previously admitted the negativity around Goodison Park is having an impact.
