Nene eying PSG confidence boost

The French side currently top Group J after taking seven points from their first three games, and victory at the Parc des Princes would leave them six points clear of the Bundesliga leaders and ensure their qualification for the knockout stages with two games to spare. They face another huge match against Marseille on Sunday, and the Brazilian midfielder is seeking a boost ahead of his first experience of the rivalry. Nene told the club's website: "This match is the chance to achieve our objective to further our adventure in the Europa League. If we win against Dortmund, we qualify. "We have to produce a good performance. That is the best way to prepare for the clash which awaits us against Marseille." The omens are lined up ideally for PSG as they go in search of that victory. They have a 100% record in home games against German opposition and are unbeaten in 11 home games in Europe, a run which stretches back to November 2006. They have also kept clean sheets in the last six of those games, presenting a formidable barrier to a Dortmund side who are the top scorers in their domestic league but have netted just twice in three games on the continent. Visiting coach Jurgen Klopp remains optimistic of improving on a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture two weeks ago and recording only a second victory in six attempts in France. "We want to bring back the points we have lost in the first leg," Klopp told his club's website. "We want to win there. "A win would put us in a pretty good position, a draw would keep us in the race." He will be able to count on Jakub Blaszczykowski after the Polish winger recovered from a groin injury. "He worked hard and could do everything, including sprints," Klopp added after observing the player's training performance. "If there was no chance we would not have him there."
