Nani expects CL progress

United head to Switzerland on Wednesday knowing that they must avoid defeat by Basel in order to reach the knockout phase of the competition. Basel have already secured a shock 3-3 draw at Old Trafford this season, while United were held 2-2 at home by Benfica in their last group match. However, having won the Champions League in 2008 and finished runners-up twice since, Nani believes the Red Devils will get the result that is required. "We're used to this kind of pressure and we have enough experience to go to Basel and win," said Nani. "Manchester United have been in this competition for many years. We have the spirit, experience and maturity to win this game. "A situation like this brings out the best in the team. It will make everyone in the side concentrate." The Portugal international remains disappointed at the manner of United's draw with Benfica when last season's beaten finalists conceded an equaliser just a minute after taking a 2-1 lead. He added: "We were much better than them but we missed a lot of chances. "We then let them score two goals when they did nothing."
