Motta happy at Inter Milan

Reports in Italy have linked the 28-year-old midfielder with a move away from the San Siro after a disappointing campaign with the Nerazzurri. "I believe his future is at Inter," Motta's agent Alessandro Canovi told Corriere dello Sport. "He wants to stay here, he still has two years left in his contract and has never requested to leave. "Until stated otherwise, he will remain at Inter." The Italy international joined Inter in the summer of 2009 from Genoa and played an important role in the club winning a Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League treble. Motta scored four goals in 19 league appearances in Serie A last term. However, he could regain his starting place at Inter this season since he will be working again under coach Gian Piero Gasperini. Gasperini replaced Leonardo as Inter coach this month after four seasons guiding Genoa. "Gasperini has arrived and he is a fan of Motta, with whom he has done always well," said Canovi.
