Motherwell v Hearts preview

Michael Higdon could play some part for Motherwell. The striker missed last weekend's draw against Kilmarnock with a thigh injury and had been expected to miss the Fir Park encounter, but he has returned to training and could feature on Sunday if there is no reaction. Hearts will be without Stephen Elliott after he suffered a hamstring injury early in the 4-1 Europa League win over Paks, while captain Marius Zaliukas was also substituted and could be a doubt for the trip to Fir Park. David Obua could be absent again after missing the Paks game, but Jamie Hamill is available following a domestic suspension, while Andy Webster (groin) and Mehdi Taouil (groin) are expected to miss out along with long-term absentees Kevin Kyle (hip) and Calum Elliot (knee).
