Millwall put out non-league Luton

Luton failed in its bid to become the first non-league team to reach the FA Cup quarterfinals in 99 years, losing 3-0 at home to Millwall on Saturday.

Goals by James Henry and Rob Hulse put Millwall up 2-0 by halftime and Dany N'Guessan's 86th-minute strike settled the fifth-round match at Kenilworth Road, ending Luton's surprise run in the competition.

Leading Premier League teams Arsenal and Everton will look to join second-tier Millwall in the last eight later Saturday when they play Blackburn and Oldham, respectively. Also, MK Dons hosts Barnsley.

Luton had caused one of the biggest shocks in recent FA Cup history by eliminating Premier League club Norwich in the fourth round, becoming the first non-league team to beat topflight opposition in 24 years.
