Milan completes sponsorship deal
AC Milan has agreed to a 60 million euros ($81.6 million),
five-year shirt sponsorship deal with Emirates airline.
AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani said Friday that the
deal, which starts in July, could be worth more with bonuses tied
to results.
The Dubai-based airline already has a three-year sponsorship
agreement with the club that was signed in 2007. Emirates also
sponsors Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Hamburger SV and Olympiakos.
AC Milan, which is part of Italian Prime Minister Silvio
Berlusconi's business empire, also has a sponsorship agreement with
Adidas that runs until June 2017.
