McCarthy cautious with O'Hara

The midfielder is currently on loan at Molineux from Tottenham and he made his first start in last weekend's famous victory over previously-undefeated Manchester United. O'Hara, who spent part of his youth career at Arsenal, was substituted after 59 minutes against the Premier League leaders because McCarthy feared the 24-year-old would be sent off. And as relegation-threatened Wolves get ready to visit title-chasing Arsenal, their manager does not want his squad to be weakened by suspensions. McCarthy told the Shropshire Star: "He'd got himself booked and he put in a tackle in the box and I thought, 'the last thing I need is for him to do another one of those and for us to be down to 10 men'. "The players are never going to say, 'gaffer I'm knackered, I'm coming off' but I decided he was coming off because he started stretching for things and we didn't need him doing that. "He's a bit like the rest of them, he's a very willing lad. We'd got fresh legs on the bench which we needed on the pitch, and I want him fit to carry on for us."
