McCall happy at Motherwell
Motherwell manager Stuart McCall has reiterated his happiness at Fir Park after speculation linked him with the vacant Blackburn job.
McCall was unaware of reports in England listing him as a potential candidate to replace Steve Kean at Ewood Park until questioned on the topic at Friday's pre-match media conference ahead of the SPL clash with Dundee United.
The 48-year-old is set for contract extension talks at Motherwell after leading the Lanarkshire club to a Scottish Cup final and Champions League qualifiers.
The former Bradford manager said: "I'm very happy with what I'm doing and I focus on what I'm doing at the time. I have always done that as a player, coach and manager.
"It's a terrific club to work for, Motherwell. They have been really good to me and it has worked well.
"It's a great group of players and backroom staff, not just on the football side, the office staff too.
"It's a tight-knit group and I enjoy coming into work every morning. There is a lot to be said for that, and I tell my players that when I'm trying to keep them.
"If you're happy in your work, then the grass isn't always greener. I'm certainly not pursuing anything."
When pressed on his ambitions when he does leave Motherwell, McCall said: "I honestly don't think that far ahead. It's like anything, if somebody comes to you with an offer, you would look at it and probably discuss it but it's certainly not something that is on my mind."
