Marseille seeks replacement for Azpilicueta
Marseille coach Didier Deschamps is considering his options to replace right back Cesar Azpilicueta, who tore the anterior cruciate ligaments in his knee and is out for six months.
The 21-year-old Spaniard was injured in the defending champion's 4-0 home win against Montpellier on Saturday.
Deschamps can get a free agent from the French leagues next month or wait until January "to see what else we can do" when the transfer window reopens.
Deschamps could play midfielder Charles Kabore as an emergency right back, but told French television on Sunday that he is likely to recruit because "I don't have an alternative (to Kabore)."
Azpilicueta joined at the start of the season on a four-year deal from Osasuna.
