Luis Suarez wishes fellow Uruguayans Lodeiro, Fernandez luck in MLS Cup

Luis Suarez has a vested stake in MLS Cup.

The Barcelona and Uruguay national team star has two of his countrymen involved in the final, with Nicolas Lodeiro and Alvaro Fernandez hoping to help the Seattle Sounders to their first title. With the title match around the corner, Suarez took a moment to wish Lodeiro and Fernandez good fortune against Toronto FC, imploring them to lift the trophy–something Suarez has done plenty of since he joined Barcelona.

Lodeiro was voted MLS Newcomer of the Year, with the playmaker playing a huge role in the club's summer turnaround. He scored four goals and added eight assists in 13 regular-season games, and he's scored another four goals in five playoff games for the Sounders.

Lodeiro, a former Ajax and Boca Juniors standout, will look to emulate Suarez by scoring in a title game, which the latter did in the 2015 Champions League final in Barcelona's 3-1 triumph over Juventus.
