Luis Alberto makes a permanent move to Lazio

Remember Luis Alberto? Well he’s now left Liverpool in order to join Italian side Lazio on a permanent deal.

Liverpool’s official website said the following in an article confirming the move.

Liverpool can today confirm that Luis Alberto has completed a permanent transfer to Italian club Lazio.

Midfielder Alberto joined the Reds from Sevilla in June 2013 and made 12 appearances in all competitions during 2013-14.

The Spaniard returned to La Liga for a season-long loan with Malaga in 2014-15, before spending last campaign with Deportivo La Coruna.

The 23-year-old will now continue his career in Serie A with Lazio.

Everybody at Liverpool FC wishes Luis the best of luck in his future career.

It’s good that Jurgen Klopp has offloaded players he isn’t fond of. It’s even better to hear rumours that a 30% sell on percentage has been included in this move. Hopefully in a few years Liverpool reap those benefits.

Jurgen Klopp has successfully freed up plenty of money to sign players he is keen on. The fact is, we already had the money. Once again, Liverpool have made good profit, and once again we’ve signed less than stellar players.

With Sadio Mane taking the place as our big signing, we did manage to improve some areas of the pitch. I’m sure Klopp didn’t want to add to many players, because that could cause more problems than it solves.

Hopefully we can see some more spending in January. Perhaps a left back wouldn’t be a bad shout.

It’ll be interesting to see how we go on with a shortage of talent in that particular position. Jurgen Klopp has brought players he has confidence in, and now its time us fans got behind everyone who is in our squad.
