Lowe an option for Blackwell

Kevin Blackwell won't rule out signing MK Dons striker Ryan Lowe, but feels the volume of loan players already at Bury could hinder any deal.

Lowe, 34, is a former crowd favourite from his time with the Shakers, and Dons boss Karl Robinson suggested this week he would be available to move to a side lower down the League One table.

Bury took their loan contingent to the Football League maximum of five on Monday with the arrival of Leeds duo Zac Thompson and Dominic Poleon, but Mark Cullen's return to Hull after injury on Thursday opened up a space.

"The situation with Ryan is that he'd be another loan player and it really is a case now of trying to keep all the balls in the air, it's difficult," said Blackwell.

"If clubs want players to play we have to marry what they can pay and we can afford, so we'll see.

"I'm interested in quite a few players to be honest, not just Ryan Lowe."
