Lorient claims point against Toulouse
Toulouse saw their hopes of qualifying for European competition next season dented by Lorient who claimed a point with a goal from Innocent Emeghara.
Lorient scored both goals as Lucas Mareque put through his own goal before Emeghara earned the visitors a Ligue 1 draw.
Toulouse created the first chance as Paulo Machado combined with Emmanuel Riviere before the former tried his luck from 20 yards with a low drive which skimmed the post.
Machado then had another chance but after dribbling past two defenders he shot inches over the bar.
Lorient's first opening came to Emeghara but his shot was saved by Toulouse keeper Ali Ahamada.
The home side pressed again and Etienne Didot's corner was met by Machado with a stunning volley but Fabien Audard made an equally impressive save.
Didot then freed Riviere with a long ball but after holding off two defenders his shot was blocked by Audard.
The Lorient keeper was again on hand to save on the half-hour after Serge Aurier ended his solo run with a shot, leaving the game goalless at the break.
A minute into the second half Lorient's Kevin Monnet-Paquet saw his fine shot saved by Ahamada.
But Toulouse were not to be denied and they took the lead after 50 minutes, even if it did come courtesy of an own goal.
Christopher Aurier set up Franck Tabanou and when he crossed Mareque put the ball in his own net as he attempted to clear.
Lorient went close to equalising when Maxime Barthelme's shot was kept out by Ahamada with a fine reflex save.
But they got back on level terms as Sigamary Diarra released Emeghara with a long ball and his instant shot beat Ahamada from 15 yards.
Toulouse pressed for the winner but when Machado passed to Riviere his shot from close range hit the bar and then Etienne Capoue's shot from distance was punched clear by Audard.
