Livesey set for important role
St Mirren defenders Sean Kelly and Jason Naismith have signed new one-year contracts with the club.
Kelly, 19, has been a regular member of the U20 squad and has featured on the bench for the first team on a number of occasions, although he has yet to make his senior debut.
He made 10 appearances for East Stirling during a loan spell in the first half of last season.
Naismith, 18, whose deal will keep him at the club until at least the summer of 2014, has made two substitute appearances in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
He was loaned out to Morton and Cowdenbeath last season and played 11 matches.
The 28-year-old centre-back, who joined in January 2005 from Bolton following a loan spell, has made over 300 appearances for the Cumbrians.
"We think Danny has played really well and we feel he has more than earned the activation of the clause in his contract," manager Greg Abbott told the club's official website.
"He's a strong, solid and determined character and he's another who loves the club. He's played the number of games he has for us because of the way he does things, professionally and without fuss.
"Danny is one of our experienced heads now and he'll have a big part to play in the dressing room with what we want to do next season."
