Lille drop Cole deal hint
Cole joined Lille on a year-long loan deal over the summer and has made an impressive start to life with the reigning Ligue 1 champions. He produced another fine performance in Tuesday's 2-0 victory away to CSKA Moscow to keep Lille's hopes of qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League alive. The midfielder has made it clear that he would be keen to discuss a permanent deal as he enjoys the style of football they play and is happy in the dressing room. While he is still scheduled to return to Anfield at the end of the current campaign, Lille have now indicated for the first time they would like to keep hold of the 30-year-old. "It is not a certainty that he will leave us again at the end his contract," said Seydoux. "If he has a certain good feeling with Lille and we can make him an interesting offer, then this is something that we will look into."
