Lewandowski's agent unimpressed by Bayern's Higuain praise
The agent of Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski is unimpressed by the Bundesliga club's appreciation of Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told reporters in Milan last week that Higuain is a "great player" who his club "would like to have", but this has upset Lewandowski's agent Maik Barthel.
"When you already have a pretty bride, you should not go looking at other brides," he told Germany's Bild newspaper.
The insinuation is that Bayern should not be considering signing any other striker considering they have Lewandowski, who has a contract with the Bavarians until 2019. He has scored 15 goals in 16 Bundesliga fixtures this season.
Higuain, who is reported to be one of incoming Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti's top transfer targets for when he takes charge in the summer, has netted 18 in 19 Serie A games this season.
