Leverkusen gives Voeller 5-year contract extension

Bayer Leverkusen has extended former Germany coach Rudi Voeller's contract as sports director until June 2017.

Last season's Bundesliga runner-up announced the five-year contract extension on Friday.

The 51-year-old Voeller returned to Leverkusen in 2005 following a four-year stint as Germany coach.
