Leicester's Christian Fuchs wants to be an NFL kicker

Christian Fuchs has a backup plan in case this whole professional soccer player thing doesn't work out as a career.

Granted, Leicester City are having one heck of a season, so it's not like Fuchs is looking for other options anytime soon. But it's always nice to have something on the back burner.

But in Fuchs' case, his next career goal is hardly a step backwards.

He wants to be an NFL kicker.

In an interview with Sky Sports, the 29-year-old Austrian shared his American football aspirations.

"I have this ambition to be an NFL kicker. If NFL managers want a footballer in their team, I know I can kick a 60 yard Field Goal. Let's see, if you don't dream you won't achieve anything."

Fuchs isn't just boasting about his kicking skills. He and fellow Leicester teammates played around with an actual pigskin after being sent jerseys by the Carolina Panthers.

Plus, he looks like he might know his way around a football.

Factor in that his wife and kids already live in New York City, and a career in the NFL makes a lot more sense.

There's always some NFL team in need of a good kicker and who knows, maybe he could be the first with a Premier League title and a Super Bowl ring?
