La Liga announces schedule for upcoming season

MADRID - Barcelona and Real Madrid will meet in November and April in the Spanish league next season.

The league announced its 2015-16 schedule Tuesday, with Real Madrid hosting defending champion Barcelona on Nov. 7 or 8. The match at Camp Nou will come in the final week of April, a time when the league title could be on the line.

To start the season at the end of August, Barcelona will play at Athletic Bilbao while Real Madrid travels to Sporting Gijon.
