Kenny hails match-winner Suarez
Suarez's fourth goal of the season secured Liverpool a 2-1 win over Wolves at the weekend but his tally in that match - and the current campaign - could well have been more. However, seven of Liverpool's 10 points this season have come in matches when Suarez has scored and that contribution has not gone unnoticed by his manager. "Luis scored a great goal (against Wolves) and on another day he may have got another two - maybe he's saving it for when we really need it," said Dalglish. "But if you get three points it doesn't matter if it is one or five - although it would be easier if it was five. "When we need something which might get us past the post Luis has produced and I'm sure he'll produce again. "But he is not someone who just scores goals, he is making goals also as he set up Craig Bellamy for one against Brighton last Wednesday." Suarez's strike partner Andy Carroll, meanwhile, has just one goal to show for his efforts this season - and that came against Exeter in the Carling Cup. However, the England international had probably his best game of the season against Wolves, and Jose Enrique believes he will prove to be a success for the club. "Everyone knows Luis is one of the best strikers in the world but he is still young and has to learn a lot," said Enqrique. "I think they (Suarez and Carroll) complement each other well. "Andy was unlucky not to score. Maybe he tried too many tricks with the chance at the end but I think next time he will score. "Against Everton (on Saturday) would be the perfect game for him to score. "The derby is a massive game but it is just three points and we have to get points now if we want a position in the Champions League. "We have to win these games - especially before the international break." Enrique's partnership with fellow new arrival Stewart Downing has been the one which has developed most quickly in a new-look Liverpool line-up. Downing should have scored his first goal for the Reds against Wolves, but already Dalglish has seen a profitable avenue of attack open up for his side. "We are happy with everything," he added. "It would have been nice if Stewart could have got his goal because all he is missing is a goal but it is not affecting him in any way. "Luis is a good strong full-back and they have a good understanding with each other."
