Kean sure Rovers will stay up

Blackburn have endured a difficult start to the season after picking up just one win from their opening 11 games to sit second bottom of the table. Rovers face bottom club Wigan on Saturday and Kean continues to face calls from disgruntled fans for his dismissal by owners Venky's. However, Kean believes Blackburn's performances this season merit a greater points return than their current tally of six and he is targeting just a second win of the campaign at the DW Stadium. "We want to say let's get some momentum leading into the tough Christmas period," said Kean. "Let's go and be aggressive - we want a victory and that is our focus. "We won't get relegated, absolutely no chance. We just need to keep plugging away. "I think the owners and the majority of our fans can see that we are in a false position at the moment. "We feel we should have six or seven more points and be sitting halfway up the league. "It's not as if we are getting battered, not playing well and we're on the ropes."
