Juan Mata kept the Manchester United bus waiting to take pics with young fan in wheelchair

Juan Mata may be one of the nicest athletes in the game. The little Spaniard was in a rush to get to the team bus before Manchester United took on Stoke City, but he didn't let it stop him from taking the time to greet and take a picture with a young fan in a wheelchair.

Mata was headed out of Old Trafford for pre-game preparations when he recognized the child - Alex Nield – in a wheelchair outside the stadium. He stopped, talked with Alex and his father, took a couple pics, then sprinted off to get on the team bus.

Even better? He got them tickets to the Stoke match as well!

Mata's met Nield before, and it's great not only to see him recognize the young fan, but take the time to speak with him and take pictures. They have a special little relationship going.
