Japan's Yano looking to sign with Freiburg

Japan forward Kisho Yano has flown to Germany to discuss terms over a move to Bundesliga club Freiburg.

Yano, who played in two games for Japan at the World Cup, and had been under contract to J-League club Albirex Niigata, departed Thursday.

The 26-year-old Yano would be the fourth Japanese to play in the Bundesliga, joining Shinji Kagawa (Borussia Dortmund), Atsuto Uchida (Schalke) and Makoto Hasebe (Wolfsburg).
