Italy selects 4 new players for match vs. Romania
Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has selected four uncapped players to his squad for the friendly against Romania in Austria on Wednesday.
Brescia winger Alessandro Diamanti, defenders Andrea Ranocchia of Genoa and Federico Balzaretti of Palermo and Lazio's Argentine-born midfielder, Cristian Ledesma, were all called up on Sunday for the game in Klagenfurt.
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli, Inter Milan defender Davide Santon and Juventus midfielder Alberto Aquilani all return to the squad after missing Italy's international against Serbia on Oct.12 in Genoa that was abandoned due to crowd trouble.
