Inter signs Chelsea defender Wallace

Inter Milan have confirmed the signing of Brazilian defender Wallace on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

The 19-year-old right-back joined the Blues earlier this summer from Fluminense and impressed in pre-season.

However, with opportunities limited at Stamford Bridge, Jose Mourinho was keen to loan out the Brazil Under-20 defender and after a delay due to work permit issues, he has now linked up with Inter having passed a medical.

Wallace is the 12th addition made by new Nerazzurri boss Walter Mazzarri, who will take charge of his first competitive game in charge when Genoa visit the San Siro on August 25.
