Inter deny Bale bid rumors

It had been suggested the reigning Serie A champions were readying a big-money offer to try and lure the Wales winger away from White Hart Lane.

Having been on the receiving end of two sublime performances from Bale in the Champions League group stage this season, Inter are fully aware of what the 21-year-old is capable of.

Spurs, though, have always maintained that Bale is not for sale at any price.

That means they would be unlikely to consider any approach from Inter for the youngster, but the Italian giants insist they have no plans to test Harry Redknapp's resolve anyway.

On the speculation, Inter chief executive Ernesto Paolillo said: "It is incorrect. It's not true."
