Hope Solo's husband arrested on suspicion of DUI

Former NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens, who's married to United States women's national team goalkeeper Hope Solo, was arrested on suspicion of DUI early Monday morning in Manhattan Beach, Calif.

According to TMZ Sports, citing "law enforcement sources," Stevens was stopped just before 2 a.m., refused to submit to a Breathalyzer test and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. TMZ adds that Solo was reportedly in the car with Stevens and that both were allegedly acting belligerent with the arresting officers.

Stevens' bail reportedly was set at $5,000.

Solo recently had charges against her dropped in a domestic violence case involving an altercation with family members that occurred in June. Solo faced two counts of fourth-degree assault when she was accused of attacking her half-sister and nephew at a party. Solo had pleaded not guilty. She claimed in court documents that she was defending herself against her 17-year-old nephew.

Stevens also has an arrest record, including a previous DUI charge as well as being charged with assault against Solo, although that charge was eventually dropped.

Solo is in Los Angeles as part of the United States women's national team training camp ahead of this summer's FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.
