Hoffenheim signs Swedish midfielder Jiloan Hamad
Hoffenheim is signing midfielder Jiloan Hamad on a free transfer from Swedish champion Malmo FF.
The Bundesliga side says in a statement the 22-year-old Hamad, Malmo's captain, is signing a contract to 2017 with effect from the second half of the season.
Hamad helped Malmo clinch the Swedish league title on Monday with eight goals and seven assists over the course of the season. It was the club's 17th national championship.
He has made six appearances for Sweden.
Hoffenheim is ninth in the Bundesliga after 10 rounds.
