Hegarty facing SFA charge

Rangers defender Chris Hegarty has been cited by the SFA over an alleged stamp on an opponent at Montrose last weekend.

Hegarty has been offered a two-match ban for the incident during the goalless draw which ultimately secured his side the third division championship.

He has until Thursday, April 4 to respond to the notice of complaint and if Rangers opt to challenge the charge a hearing will be held on April 10.
